We believe in offering a truly unique gift giving experience that brings as much joy to the giver, as it does the recipient! Whether you are treating yourself (and why wouldn’t you?!) or someone else, we make the gift giving process effortless. At Sparrow & Oak you can choose from our selection of beautifully prepared, pre-curated gift boxes, build your own gift box using items from our boutique or work directly with us to design a custom gift. Packaged beautifully in an elegant box tied with a bow, and topped off with a touch of fresh greenery, our gift boxes are modern, memorable and sure to make a lasting impression!

Hi there! I’m Amy, and I’m so glad you're here! I am the owner and creative force behind Sparrow & Oak and I’d love to tell you a little bit about myself! For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for all things creative, a keen eye for detail and an entrepreneurial spirit. My venture into the world of small business came in my late twenties when I launched my own photography business, a journey that would eventually become the catalyst for my love of entrepreneurship. One too many chai lattes and a pandemic later, Sparrow & Oak was born out of a desire to own my own shop and to share my love of beautiful gift design. From thoughtfully selecting items I know the recipient will love, to choosing the perfect packaging, I love every stage of the creative process that goes into preparing a special gift for someone.

I have my mom to thank for instilling in me an appreciation for the art of gifting as she herself loved giving to others too. She taught me how to wrap a present to perfection and it’s because of her that to this day, I can’t bring myself to let go of a single piece of tissue paper or ribbon. While she is no longer with us in this world, she is ever present in my heart and I know that she would be so proud of this endeavour.

When I’m not curling ribbon, I am cozied up on the couch with our dog and a cup of tea or I am spending time with my family. I am married to a wonderful man who always supports my dreams, and I am blessed beyond measure to be the mom of two beautiful girls who fill my whole heart.
